Copper and nickel are extremely valuable, commodity traded metals, and as an alloy, they form a rather formidable material. The chemical composition of DIN 2.0882 Cold Rolled Plates consists of a large portion of copper which stands at 70%. Copper is followed by about 30% nickel, which is the second largest alloyant in the material.
The alloy for Astm B122 Cuni 70/30 Polished Plates is produced with additions of two more elements, that is iron and manganese. The elemental composition of the Cupro Nickel 70 / 30 Coils makes the material moderately higher in terms of resistance to corrosion and resistance to erosion. By adding iron and manganese in the alloy of Cupro Nickel 70/30 Strip the alloy exhibits a slight improvement in tensile strength level as opposed to copper nickel 90/10. Thus the chemical composition of the 70/30 Copper Nickel Sheet makes it well suited for use in more demanding and aggressive applications. In particular, its corrosion resistance property of the Copper Nickel 70/30 Sheet & Plate distinctly witnesses a rise when it has been used in high-velocity waters, where the speed turns up to 4.5m/s or when the alloy is used in polluted seawater.
